Terms of Service

This legal document is provided in English. In case of conflict between a translation and the English version, the English version prevails.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Menu Lyns website, applications, and related services (the "Service") operated by Menu Lyns ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, checking the acceptance box at sign-up, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
Please also read our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information.
1. The Service
Menu Lyns provides tools to create and publish digital QR menus, customize branding, manage multiple locations, invite team members, accept guest orders, and view analytics. Features may vary by plan. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for actions taken by team members you invite.
3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
- Paid features require an active subscription. Prices, billing intervals, and included features are shown at checkout or on our pricing page and may change for new purchases with notice.
- Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record for online purchases. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's applicable buyer terms and privacy practices for payment processing.
- Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You authorize recurring charges at the then-current rate until you cancel in accordance with the billing interface or by contacting support.
- Taxes may apply based on your location. Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features after reasonable notice.
- Refunds are handled according to our published refund policy and applicable consumer law. Unless required by law, fees for partial billing periods are generally non-refundable after a subscription period has begun.
4. Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of menu content, images, trademarks, and other materials you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you and your guests.
You represent and warrant that:
- You have all rights necessary to use and share Your Content through the Service
- Your menus, prices, allergen information, and promotions comply with applicable laws and industry standards in your jurisdiction
- You will provide any legally required guest notices (including privacy notices) for data you collect through your menus
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Upload malware, infringing material, or content that violates third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Interfere with the Service, scrape it excessively, or reverse engineer except as permitted by law
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent
- Use the Service to send spam or misleading communications to guests
We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
6. Guest interactions and orders
Guest orders and feedback submitted through your menu are transmitted to you for fulfillment. We are not a party to transactions between you and your guests. You are solely responsible for order accuracy, food safety, pricing, payment at the table or counter, and compliance with local hospitality regulations.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, and Menu Lyns branding, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the Service.
8. Availability and support
We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control may affect availability. Support is provided via support@qrmenu.app and in-product channels on a commercially reasonable basis.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time through billing settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach, non-payment, or risk to the Service or others. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends; we may delete or retain data as described in our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT ANALYTICS OR TRANSLATIONS WILL BE ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER WE NOR OUR SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Menu Lyns and its affiliates, officers, and employees from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your relationship with guests, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise. Courts in Dubai, UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes not subject to mandatory arbitration or consumer forum rules, unless applicable law requires a different venue.

14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be notified by email or in the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
15. General
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or plan-specific terms, are the entire agreement between you and Menu Lyns regarding the Service.
- If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer.
